James Hudson Taylor
(May 21, 1832 -- June 3, 1905), was a British Protestant missionary to China,
and founder of the China Inland Mission (CIM) (now OMF International). He
served there for 51 years, bringing over 800 missionaries to the country who
began 125 schools and directly resulting in 18,000 Christian conversions, as
well as the establishment of more than 300 stations of work with more than 500
local helpers in all 18 provinces, before his death in China at age 73.
Taylor has been
referred to as one of the most significant Europeans to visit China in the 19th
Century. Historian R. Tucker summarizes his accomplishments:
"No other
missionary in the nineteen centuries since the Apostle Paul has had a wider
vision and has carried out a more systematized plan of evangelizing a broad
geographical area than Hudson Taylor."

Biography
A..E. Wilder-Smith studied
natural sciences at Oxford, England. He received his first doctorate in
Physical Organic Chemistry at Reading University, England, 1941. During World
War II, he joined the Research department of ICI in England. After the war, he
became Countess of Lisburne Memorial Fellow at the University of London.
Subsequently, Dr. Wilder-Smith was appointed Director of Research for a Swiss
pharmaceutical company. Later he was elected to teach Chemotherapy and
Pharmacology at the Medical School of the University of Geneva for which
position he received his "habitation" (the senior examination
required for professorial appointments to European continental universities).
At Geneva, he earned his second doctorate, followed by a third doctorate from
the ETH (a senior university in Switzerland) in Zurich.
In 1957-1958 Wilder-Smith was
Visiting Assistant Professor at the Medical Centre of the University of
Illinois, 1959-1961 Visting Full Professor of Pharmacology of the University of
Bergen Medical School in Norway. After a further two years at the University of
Geneva, he was appointed Full Professor of Pharmacology at the University of
Illinois Medical Centre. Here he received in three succeeding years three
``Golden Apple Awards" for the best course of lectures, together with four
senior lecturer awards for the best series of year lectures.
Dr. Wilder-Smith's last Golden
Apple award was inscribed, ``He made us not only better scientists, but also
better men."

Mass murderer's
testimony
Before his death, convicted mass
murderer Jeffrey Dahmer (considered by many to be the most notorious killer of all
time) made the following comment on the Dateline NBC program, on November 29,
1994.
"If
a person doesn't think that there is a God to be accountable to, then what's
the point of trying to modify your behaviour to keep it within acceptable
ranges? That's how I thought anyway. I always believed the theory of evolution
as truth, that we all just came from the slime. When we died, you know, that
was it, there is nothing, and I've since come to believe that the Lord Jesus
Christ is truly God, and I believe that I, as well as everyone else, will be
accountable to Him."

Between 1978 and 1991, Jeffrey
Dahmer murdered at least 17 men and boys. His murders included gruesome acts
and he was sentenced to a lifetime in prison.
But during his sentence
something changed, and before his death, Dahmer went on MSNBC with his father.
When asked what contributed to his new accountability, he told his father,
"Thanks to you for sending that creation science material."
In the interview Dahmer
acknowledges that he once believed in the evolution theory which "cheapens
life". He went on to testify to the Lord Jesus Christ being the true
Creator and accepting Him as his Savior. Watch

Like Dahmer, many today are being
influenced by the cheapening of life promoted by the evolution theory. Racism,
communism, nazism and anarchy are all affects of this dangerous theory. Even
the killers in the Columbine school massacre wore shirts that blared,
"Natural Selection". Evolution is a perilous religion with fatal
societal consequences.
