"I was one of those who had profited much from using the plethora of out-of-print Reformation materials offered by Still Waters Revival Books in the 62 CDs (Puritan CDs and Reformation CDs) for a number of years in my ministry -- works that I could only have found in select libraries (usually hundreds of miles away from my residence).
With the CDs, it took a little while to go to the index of each set, locate the documents I needed, and then find the correct CD. Of course, the time was always well spent in finding that particular document that I needed.
However, now that I have the Puritan Hard Drive, I am able to use my time much more efficiently in finding that particular document I need by quickly searching for it and finding it in a matter of seconds. It's like going from "dial up" to "high-speed" Internet!
And for all of those documents that have a font that are in block letters, I am able to simply cut and paste from the Puritan Hard Drive to my own document with ease.
Amazing surprises do come in small packages!
If you want to understand Reformed theology (i.e., the whole counsel of God) the Puritan Hard Drive is unsurpassed, outside the Bible itself. The First and Second Reformations gave us the most faithful Scriptural teaching and preaching since the time of the Apostles, and there is no other resource, outside Scripture itself, where you can find so much of God's truth as in the Puritan Hard Drive.
May the Lord continue to use this most profitable tool to promote a Third Reformation that encompasses the whole world (Isaiah 2:2-4)."

I
received it (the Puritan Hard Drive - ed.) yesterday and am blown
away by it!
It is simple
to set up and there is a tremendous amount of material available that will last
me for years as I go through it all.
The
search tools are, by themselves, well worth the price of the Puritan Hard Drive. It makes finding authors, topics and documents incredibly
easy and fast. (The speed itself is amazing!) I also find the ability to copy from
any of the (searchable - ed.) PDFs and paste into whatever .doc I happen to
have open to be extremely useful.
I'm also glad
to see that there are audio sermons/teachings (MP3s - ed.), as well as WMVs
(videos - ed.) from a variety of speakers and preachers as this provides a
well-rounded approach to my own theology.
I've
downloaded the entire drive to one of my computers that can handle it, and have
it hooked up to a laptop.
The Puritan
Hard Drive is a tremendous asset to my library and a huge time-saver for my own learning, preaching,
teaching and counseling.
Thank you ever
so much for doing this.

Covenanter
Terms of Communion (19 free MP3s) by Greg Price This set explains the six
"Terms of Ministerial and Christian Communion in the
Reformed Presbyterian Church."
These terms represent a high water mark concerning Covenanted Reformation
attainments thus far in history. They are thoroughly Scriptural (as this set
proves) and should be adopted by all Churches as the minimum standard by which
people are admitted to the Lord's Supper. The "rare bound photocopy" An
Explanation and Defense of the Terms of Communion... by the Reformed Presbytery also
covers much the same ground, adding some arguments not found in this tape set,
but generally containing less detail (also free on 4 MP3s beginning at http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=62106133226). McKnight's "rare bound photocopy" Concerning
Close Communion
is also very helpful in regard to the general subject of the Scriptural
propriety of a close communion and explicit, open, honest, and biblical terms
for fencing the table of the Lord (free MP3 at http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=92103184145).
Individual
sections of Greg Price's Covenanter Terms of Communion series of free MP3s are
outlined below:
Covenanter Terms of Communion: The Word of God (2 free MP3s) Greg Price
Explains and defends the first term of
communion, which is "An acknowledgement of the Old and New Testament to be
the Word of God, and the alone infallible rule of faith and practice."
Covers the attributes of Scripture, including the necessity, inspiration,
authority, sufficiency, perspicuity, perpetuity, etc. of the Word of God. Also
deals with principles of interpretation (hermeneutics) and how we know that
God's Word is His Word, and thus can be trusted as the absolute, inerrant,
infallible and inspired truth. Touches on higher criticism and the debate over
bible version, upholding the Textus Receptus (i.e. the ecclesiastical or
received text) and the King James Version. A fine defense of Sola Scriptura
which also touches on how "extra-biblical" terms of communion are not
only required by Scripture itself, but are an inescapable necessity. Price is
careful to point out the difference between the primary, infallible standard of
Scripture and those uninspired subordinate standards, which nevertheless bind
the conscience whenever they say the same thing as Scripture. A great
introduction to God's Word that comes with our highest recommendation.
Covenanter Terms of Communion: The Westminster
Standards by Greg Price (5
free MP3s)
Explains and defends the second term of
communion, which is "That the whole doctrine of the Westminster Confession
of Faith, and the Catechisms, Larger and Shorter, are agreeable unto, and
founded upon the Scriptures." Gives a summary of the Westminster
standards, its history and demonstrates why these standards are agreeable to
the word of God.
Covenanter Terms of Communion: Presbyterian Worship
and Government by Greg Price
(2 free MP3s)
Explains and defends the third term of
communion, which is "That Presbyterial Church Government and manner of
worship are alone of divine right and unalterable; and that the most perfect
model of these as yet attained, is exhibited in the Form of Government and
Directory for Worship, adopted by the Church of Scotland in the Second
Reformation."
Covenanter Terms of Communion: Covenants and
Covenanting by Greg Price
(7 free MP3s)
Explains and defends the fourth term of
communion, which is "That public, social covenanting is an ordinance of
God, obligatory on churches and nations under the New Testament; that the
National Covenant and the Solemn League are an exemplification of this divine
institution; and that these Deeds are of continued obligation upon the moral
person; and in consistency with this, that the Renovation of these Covenants at
Auchensaugh, Scotland, 1712 was agreeable to the word of God." This is the
best taped information you will find on covenanting anywhere!
Covenanter Terms of Communion: The Martyrs and
Historic Testimony by Greg Price
(2 free MP3s)
Explains and defends the fifth term of
communion, which is "An approbation of the faithful contendings of the
martyrs of Jesus, especially in Scotland, against Paganism, Popery, Prelacy,
Malignancy and Sectarianism; immoral civil governments; Erastian tolerations and
persecutions which flow from them; and of the Judicial Testimony emitted by the
Reformed Presbytery in North Britain, 1761 (i.e. The Act, Declaration and
Testimony for the Whole of Our Covenanted Reformation--RB) with supplements from the Reformed Presbyterian
Church; as containing a noble example to be followed, in contending for all
divine truth, and in testifying against all corruptions embodied in the
constitutions of either churches or states."
Covenanter Terms of Communion: The Practice of
Truth by Greg Price (1 free
MP3s)
Explains and defends the sixth term of
communion, which is "Practically adorning the doctrine of God our Savior
by walking in all His commandments and ordinances blamelessly." A very
practical message about biblical sanctification.

A Testimony Against the Unfounded Charges of
Anabaptism (1997) by Greg
Price (This book teaches us that "[t]he heresy of Anabaptism lives today!
It has infected the modern church with its cancerous errors and heresies:
anti-creedalism, arminianism, dispensationalism, independency [sectarianism],
anti-paedobaptism, will-worship [anti-regulativism], perfectionism, societal
escapism, religious pluralism and tolerationism [anti-establishmentarianism],
denial of the perpetual obligation of social covenanting, pacifism, pietism,
socialism, premillennialism, and a refusal to recognize *lawful* civil
government as the ordinance of God. These unbiblical positions of the Anabaptists
were not tolerated by the Reformed Churches of the First and Second
Reformations, and neither should they be tolerated by any Church today that
claims to be Reformed or Presbyterian" [Greg Price]. Far to little
contemporary Reformed writing has been directed against the Anabaptists,
especially in light of the fact that many of their heresies have been generally
adopted by professing Christians. Even the "Reformed" community
suffers from this contagion. Lord willing, this book with be an effective antidote
to the "AIDS" of Anabaptist thought and practice. This item is also
available as a bound photocopy for $4.49 [US funds] or as a Hardcover photocopy
for $19.00 [US funds].)
Praying As Jesus Taught Us To Pray: Our Approach To
God by Greg Price
There is not a greater need in the
church and in the lives of Christians than earnest, effectual prayer that
brings glory to God and grace to God's people. We neglect prayer; we find it a
burden and do not avail ourselves of this most powerful means of God's grace.
To our shame, we would rather work and play than to make time every day for
intimate communion with Jesus Christ through prayer. We have a form of
godliness, but by our prayerlessness, we deny the power thereof when we
relegate prayer to the backseat in our Christian life. Let us confess as sin
our empty and vain exercise of merely going through the motions of prayer. Let
us repent with shame and grief that we have demonstrated to the Lord how
irrelevant Christ is to us by our prayerlessness and by our making excuses as
to why we cannot spend time with Him in secret worship in the morning and the
evening. We have no excuses, dear ones, for Christ has taught us to pray in His
own Word. In fact, one of His own disciples was so moved upon observing Christ
pray that he asked the Lord to teach them to pray (Luke 11:1). What does your
prayer life reveal about your Christian life? Does it reveal an honesty and
transparency before the Lord, or an obscuring and seeking to hide who you are
from the God who sees all? Does it reveal that you view God as your servant to
go and fetch whatever you want or think you need, or that you view God as the
Most High King in whose holy presence you can only come due to the mercy of God
extended to you through the perfect obedience and righteousness of Jesus
Christ? Does it reveal that you are more concerned with yourself, or that you
are more concerned with God's glory and honor? Dear children of God, we all need
refresher courses in duties (and privileges) that we ought to know, but have
forgotten or neglected. And so it is with the duty and privilege that is ours
in prayer. Let us pray as Jesus taught us to pray.

I John 5:10-13 (#24) Assurance: How To Be Certain
of Your Salvation (1998) by Greg Price
This is the best sermon we have ever
heard on the doctrine of assurance. It contrasts Papist blasphemy and Arminian
heresy on this point (from some of their official documents) with the biblical
position of the Reformation (citing the classic landmark statements on
assurance from the Westminster Confession of Faith). It lays out the clear
Scriptural provisions that God has made for every Christian to enjoy the full
assurance of faith, and thus enjoy close communion with Christ throughout their
earthly sojourn. Besides being a great encouragement to believers, this tape
can also be used as a helpful evangelistic tool. Finally, if you, or anyone you
know, has ever struggled with assurance (and there are few Christians that
haven't) then this is a sermon that you should not pass by.
Holiness Unto the Lord (1998) by Greg Price
One of the best
sermons you may ever hear on the Puritan view of personal sanctification --
with various Reformation references to corporate (i.e. ecclesiastical and
civil) sanctification also.
Terms of Communion by Greg Price. This set explains the six
"Terms of Ministerial and Christian Communion in the Reformed Presbyterian
Church." These terms represent a high water mark concerning covenanted
Reformation attainments thus far in history. They are thoroughly Scriptural (as
this set proves) and should be adopted by all Churches as the minimum standard
by which people are admitted to to the Lord's Supper. The "rare bound
photocopy" An Explanation and Defense of the Terms of Communion... by the Reformed Presbytery also covers much the
same ground, adding some arguments not found in this tape set, but generally
containing less detail. McKnight's "rare bound photocopy" Concerning
Close Communion is also very helpful
in regard to the general subject of the Scriptural propriety of a close
communion and explicit, open, honest, and biblical terms for fencing the table
of the Lord. Separate sections of this cassette series can be purchased
individually as outlined below.
Nation Shaking Reformation Promoted by Greg Price (Free MP3)
A classic sermon by a modern-day
Puritan! Deals with the major facets of national Reformation from the Old and
New Testaments, as well as providing historic examples of how and why God
blesses this biblical pattern. Explains the duties of the church, state and
individual in bringing about national covenanted Reformation. Includes notes on
the importance of covenanting with God (individually and corporately) and on
the forthcoming covenant renewal (of the Solemn League and Covenant) in
Edmonton. Exposes tolerationism and religious pluralism as sin, gives
instruction on the "two sons of oil" in Zechariah's prophecy, and
provides direction (from the Lord's prayer as expounded by the Westminster
Divines in the Larger Catechism) on the kind of prayer that changes the world,
destroys the work of the devil, and honors and glorifies God. Reformation
eschatology also gets its due here. This sermon should be a great encouragement
to those that have been given the grace to see the bigger picture regarding
what God is doing in the world today -- and the certain world changing
Reformation that is to come during the prophesied millennium!
"This
collection... is a truly astounding accomplishment. There is nothing like this
available to the ordinary Christian on the whole face of the earth. Now, for the
first time ever, ordinary Christians can have direct and near effortless access

HARD DRIVE REVIEWS and User Comments
A Sample Puritan Hard Drive Review Follows Below
Hi, I received the Puritan Hard Drive about
20th of December last year, I am overwhelmed at the content.
It is like the treasures that were taken
out of Solomon's temple.
It is packed with such knowledge,
understanding and so much wisdom I can fully understand how our Puritan
forefathers walked in such fear of the Lord that they sought His and only His
will to be done in their lives.
I was struggling with life in general and felt
that I was slipping so far away from God that I just could not see the way
back, when I started looking into the Puritan Hard Drive. I was short on
finances but willing to part with a treasured Matthew Henry 5 volumes in order
to pay for the Puritan Hard Drive.
Well only just after a month of
continuously looking into the Puritans (on the Puritan Hard Drive - ed.),
reading some and listening to the audio I feel that the Lord in His good
kindness and His abounding mercy has once again assured me of His wonderful
gracious Love towards His own.
I've got other Christian teaching material but
nothing compares to what the Lord has done using Still Waters Revival Books to
bring these books together and putting them all in one small compact 21st
century device. It is TRULY amazing.
To the people who have put this Puritan Hard
Drive together, whether you read from books and it is your voice that is heard
(reading classic Reformed and Puritan books to MP3 - ed.), or have put your
sermons on audio, and to SWRB who worked in collecting all the material
together, my heart goes out to you all, and I say thank you -- but without the
LORD none of this would ever of been done, so we must all give Him the praise
and glory. We are all worthy of the greatest condemnation, but by His selfless
sacrifice He poured out His Love on such utterly worthless worms and redeemed
those that He chose before there was time.
I am the very least of all true Christians and
what the Puritan Hard Drive has done for my spiritual revival is so wonderfully
great,
I wholeheartedly recommend getting this Puritan Hard Drive at whatever cost.
As I have already said above, when I bought
this I had no money coming in, my bank account was near on being closed, and I
sold a personal treasure and I am so glad that I did, to obtain the Puritan
Hard Drive. My faith once was weak, but now I'm gaining strength daily.
The Lord bless all those involved in putting
this together, but I'm especially thankful to the LORD OF ALL GLORY, thank
you.
Also thank you for putting me right and
correcting me on my ideas of the end times, I have repented of being a Futurist,
thank you.
I would also like to add, I’ve been reading
"The Discourse on Prayer" by Thomas Boston, and listening to
"The Art of Divine Contentment" by Thomas Watson, and just finished
listening to "The Crucifixion of Christ" by Isaac Ambrose.
Thomas Boston's "Discourse on
Prayer" showed me my ignorance and my callous slothfulness, and how we are
to rely 100% on the Holy Spirit to pray in and through us.
Thomas Watson's "The Art of Divine
Contentment" showed me just how discontented I was, and after hearing
Isaac Ambrose's sermon on the crucifixion, I don’t think I’ve got the words to
describe how utterly wicked, evil, cruel and depraved man has become -- and how
good, kind and especially how much God utterly loves this world.
I only started looking into the Puritans about
2003-4, can’t remember exactly when. I near on stormed out of a Baptist church
shouting up to Heaven and said "I want the truth." That is when among
other sights (i.e., Charles Spurgeon and a few others) the Lord brought me
across SWRB. And please believe I am so GLAD He did.
Just the last sermon I’ve heard would have
been worth the amount (and more) that I paid for the Puritan Hard Drive. So please keep up
the excellent work that you are doing.
May the Lord God of all mercy, grace, peace
and Love bless you in all spiritual knowledge, understanding, and wisdom, to
remain obedient to all that He calls you to.
